Forklift Training
About
This one-day training course will teach students how to make safety checks of various forklifts. Students will be able to move, lift, and transport material or equipment from one location to another. Students will receive a certificate and card upon completion of the course. Class will be offered at the Clarksville and Dickson campus locations. All classes must have a minimum of three students registered.

IV Therapy
About
The IV Therapy for the LPN course is designed to offer the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) the basic knowledge and skills necessary to safely administer IV push medications as allowed by the Tennessee Board of Nursing Rules and Regulations. The course is based on the Infusion Nurses Society standards. The course presents concepts related to intravenous fluid and medication administration, pharmacology of selected medications, prevention and monitoring of complications of IV therapy, legal and ethical issues, and other topics associated with IV medication administration.
Schedule
This is a 41 hour, hybrid (online and scheduled days in-person) course.
Overview
Pre-requisites: Successful completion of a Practical Nursing program (verified by transcript or state licensure)
Total Hours: 41 Clock Hours
Textbooks: No specific textbook requirements; Access to a pharmacology textbook and nursing drug reference is highly recommended.
