Information Technology Systems Coordinator – Dickson Campus

The Tennessee College of Applied Technology - Dickson is accepting applications for the full-time position of Information Technology Systems Coordinator located at the Dickson Campus.


  • Bachelor degree in a related field from an accredited institution.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of full-time experience in a related field within the last seven (7) years.

  • Current certifications in CompTIA and Microsoft disciplines preferred.

  • Operational knowledge of network and routing protocols, Windows Service, Active Directory, switch configuration and programming.



  • Ability to effectively communicate with and provide support to a diverse group of constituents including students, faculty, staff, and external partners.

  • Must show evidence of good character, organizational skills, and mature attitude.

  • Ability to perform routine maintenance on servers, computers and peripheral equipment.

  • Must be willing to remain current in the IT profession.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to be flexible and respond to changing work priorities and duties.


GENERAL DUTIES:  The Information Technology Systems Coordinator is responsible for the general administration and management of all institutional information technology systems at all of Tennessee College of Applied Technology – Dickson campuses. The IT Coordinator also serves as the information technology representative to the Tennessee Board of Regents, contractors, maintenance vendors and suppliers who service the campus. Duties include, but are not limited to: providing support and problem resolution to end users for hardware and software issues; maintaining hardware, software and license inventories; implementing/maintaining IT security policies; firewall maintenance; hardware and software installation and maintenance; serving on the college’s safety and security team; and other duties as assigned.  This full-time position reports to the President. Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Travel to satellite campuses will be required.

SALARY:  Commensurate with Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology salary guidelines.
